That's a shame Gadge
Bugger - looks like I'm doing this myself then - good job there aren't many punters!

Its Rubbish Dave, i actually really wanted to do this one liek i said on Sunday.
If it was not for th fact im in a pretty new venue then i'd take a risk but at the mo I have to be careful.

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Gadge... the dates of TFSS events you've mentioned you'll attend are:
BUSHEY HALL - 12th/13th April; Lincolnsfields (you said "maybe"... I could do with knowing for sure as its only a fortnight away)
RENISHAW HALL - 21st/22nd June; Sheffield
RAMSEY SHOW – 16th/17th August; RAF Upwood (aka Urban Assault)
VICTORY SHOW – 8th/9th Sept; Cosby
Other events:
FIELD TRAINING – 10th/11th May; Belchamps Scout Camp (This one clashes with Bryansk, I will be at this one, not Bryansk)
SPONSORED EXPEDITION – 7th/8th June; Forest of Dean, Christchurch (I'll be at this one)
RAF SHREWSBURY – 5th/6th July; Shorebury with Chindits OCA (This one clashes with Haggard... It really pisses me off as it is a proper Chindit event as well... But I want to do Haggard as well! ARGH!)
MILITARY ODYSSEY – 23rd/24th/25th August, Detling (I'll be at this one)
Ramsay show wont happen for the same reason as D-day, third weekend of the month, i'll always be Djing on the third weekend.

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
You're okay for the others though? (esp Bushey I could do with letting Sophie and Simon know...)
Shame about Ramsay... its right on your doorstep (well not too far anyway)... why not see if you can get a lift down for the Sat or Sun?
I have far too much to do on a clubnight to be doing a show really rich. Sunday would be awful as i'd not have had any sleep as well.
I'll look at when im doinf stuff and sort out what dates i can do.

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
well the teddies are flung far from the pram on gunmans site after the ai review that merely said tuddenham was 'nothing special'
You'd have thought he said it was the shittest site in england and that anyone who played there was a cunt from the reaction...

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Heh, it's funny how people comment on what they haven't read, and when they do read it they don't comprehend what they have read!
I was chuffed with the review frankly - I knew it would be alien to anything Monaf had done before, he got very cranky when no one had picked up a rifle for the first hour!
I don't know what's up with the business arrangement/promises between Paul and Josh but I think they are as bad as each other
BTW, CiA are distancing themselves from Gunman from now on - our objectives aren't converging...

Makes sense Dave.
Its also interesting to note that Josh whinges that not enough cia players are coming to his d-day games.
I see *very few* of his ww2 (or 2ww) sections regulars signing up for (y)ours....
I like 'poor journalists' I should send them my scrapbook of cuttings from national daileys i've written for .![]()

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
I've read it. Usual story. Josh gets up in arms about a perfectly fair comment. Posts it up, then players who weren't at the event, or havent even read the article get up in arms. Mind you, i do think that the event review was very, very poorly written.
In short, Josh is a c-nut, Monaf is a c-nut.
Of course, after D-Day +2, there will be no more association between CiA and Gunman, so who cares?

ll the small 2ww games are being put on hold as the market has been saturated since D-Day with other sites now running games all over the place! I will run 2 ops weekends, 2 D-Day events and a number of smaller events tbc and a few away battle would be great:)
That little nugget was his announcement to the Gunman punters explaining why Josh had cancelled all his WW2 mini events.
Apparently his event was so successful everyone else jumped on the bandwagon. Breathtaking arrogance.

What planet is he from, seriously, cos it sure aint this one....

Heh, I'm not sure if you knew Gadge but Josh stole your 'film-sim' description....

Which we nicked off eznugud anyway...
Hmmm actuall, it certainly dates back to my old Lightfighter days... not sure who it was who came up with it then... may have been him... or maybe someone else on the team... or even me... lol
But we DEFINITELY used the term... ![]()
Demoncase mentioned it first about six years ago to me IIRC
I used it to argue about Milsim with Eznugud on ASCUK and then he started using it IIRC.

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Its just a shame we didnt think of registering that first to be honest....
I dont mind it becoming a widely used phrase even though its not really mine (its so much less knobby than 'mil-sim') i just wish someone else had grabbed it first.

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
How much would that cost?
Im tempted....

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Hell, i'll chuck in a few quid to get it.........
Film-Sim.com is available as well.
Get the pair of them then redirect to this website? That'll upset him lol
